Pair of snapshots featuring Brooklyn Dodgers greats Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider. Handwritten notations on verso help identify the Hall of Fame duo and indicate the images originate from twenty-year-old Duke Snider's rookie season of 1947. These photos are companions to the snapshot of Jackie Robinson sold in our Fall 2024 Premier Auction, all three of which appear to have been captured at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Gentle wear is present to the emulsion layer of Reese's example, though this is largely only visible when tilted towards a light source. Both photos measure approx. 2.75" x 4.5" and display Kodak's Velox logo on reverse. Two snapshots total.
