Measuring approximately 3/4" x 1" these three tiny charms were packaged in plastic balls and purportedly distributed via coin-operated vending machines. The dates of 1947-52 are estimates only based on the dates of the player selection known to date with each charm featuring a tiny black and white player photo encased in a plastic frame. Presented are a group of three such charms featuring Sugar Ray Robinson Stan Musial and Jackie Robinson. While we cannot begin to guess the proper way to grade plastic charms from the 1940s and 50s the Sugar Ray and Jackie charms display very well (dare we say Excellent?) while the Musial is bent and creased across the middle. Small interesting and not encountered frequently.
