Collection of five pin-ups from the inside front cover of 1940s issues of Beisbol magazine from Puerto Rico. Featuring Babe Ruth Mel Ott Ducky Medwick Joe McCarthy and Al Lopez this group of five Hall of Famers are in remarkable condition given their origin and age. Each of the pieces are printed on paper slightly heavier than newsprint measuring approximately 7 3/4" x 10 1/4". While each appears in EX condition (save for the Ruth which has a slight clip at the bottom left corner) each is trimmed smaller than the original size of the magazine pages four of the five have writing on the reverse and all contain staple holes in the upper left corners. Still these are five attractive seldom-seen display pieces.
