"The Store Nine," pose for a photographer in this c.1880's 4" x 6" photo affixed to an 11.75" x 14" mount. The team has been staged with wonderful period details scattered throughout, including several of the players dressed in their suspenders and all sporting circular caps. While the photo itself has remained extremely well protected by the mount, heavy soiling is present across entirety of the heavy board with a deep crease running vertically from the bottom to right edge.
