Jerry West's rookie card in the 1961-62 Fleer Basketball set remains one of the key NBA rookies, with good reason. The PSA 4 has really bright colors and a nice, clear image of the Hall-of-Fame point guard (Fleers has him as a Forward, probably because he scored like one) but is off-center front and back. Still, it's a nice mid-grade example of a popular card. Now, can anyone explain why Fleer thought the Lakers logo was a giraffe?!
