Unscored official Montreal Royals program for a game against the 1946 Baltimore Orioles. The 1946 season was, of course, the debut season for Jackie Robinson, his sole complete season in the minors before joining the Brooklyn Dodgers. The program appears to show some light fading at the edges, but this is a characteristic common among all 1946 Royals scorecards. Robinson appears in the lineup batting second and playing second base. An outstanding document of Robinson's final stop before accomplishing the impossible task of breaking baseball's color barrier.
