Original cabinet photo featuring the 1902 Toronto Maple Leafs of the Eastern League, considered one of the better minor league baseball teams in history. The Leafs finished the season with a record of 85-42 behind manager Ed Barrow (HOF), who would be hired to manage the Detroit Tigers after the season. The team was stacked with major league talent, including Jimmy Bannon and pitcher Jake Thielman. The team is pictured in uniform, surrounding the future Hall of Famer Barrow. Measuring approximately 7" x 6", the photo (perhaps 4 3/4" x 3 3/4") remains in excellent condition, the ornately-designed mount exhibiting wear at all four corners and edges, three pinholes and some mild staining on the reverse.
