Baseball glove-shaped ceramic ashtray dating to the 1940s and advertising Lone Star Beer. The glove bears Heffner's name on the outside of the glove (not in the palm area). Heffner played for 11 seasons largely with the Yankees and Browns mostly as a backup infielder though he did start between 1938 and 1941 with the St. Louis Browns. The piece appears in EX condition with a light chip at the heel of the "glove" visible only on the reverse. The piece presents extremely well and is a scarce and desirable piece of breweriana.
