Outstanding cardboard tabletop advertising display pairing Rheingold Extra Dry Lager with the New York Mets. A partnership that produced a number of outstanding displays in the Mets' championship season of 1969 we unfortunately cannot definitively date this piece to that great season though the design of the cans pictured in the display likely date it to that era. Measuring 12 1/2" x 22 3/4" at its tallest and widest the piece presents very well with some light age-related soiling and a crease across the knob of the bat on the right of the display. A corner crease is evident at the top right. The reverse and easel is intact with some slight age-related toning at the edges and a small cear to the paper at the bottom-left corner that does not impact the front. An exceptional piece.
