Framed to a finished size of 15 1/2" x 23 1/2" attractive advertising sign produced for Fort Pitt Beer and Ale. Colorful sign features the unmistakeable image of Honus Wagner leaping to catch a line drive the image similar to his 1951 Connie Mack All-Stars issue. The frame prevents us from examining the sign which appears to be a tin sign due to some missing color at the bottom-right corner revealing a metallic background. The background "grass" appears to be a softer sort of fabric similar to that of the Marathon beer sign offered elsewhere in this auction with the "Fort Pitt" logo in a metallic gold. A very elaborate sign which we have been unable to date though the variety of manufacturing techniques required to produce the sign implies it is of more recent vintage.
