Attractive pair of advertising displays for the once popular and now revived Pabst Blue Ribbon brand of beer. Collection includes: 1) 1960s era display: 19" x 32" plastic display designed to appear vintage advertising baseball's "Old Time" batting champions. Picturing a plastic bat that is a "replica of bat used by Home Run Baker" this three-dimensional sign does exhibit wear and chipping to the plastic throughout along with discoloration one would expect from spending a considerable amount of time on the walls of a smoky bar. 2) "GO Yankees Go Pabst" sign. Framed to a finished size of approximately 19" x 26" the colorful graphics are also intended to appear vintage recalling the art deco advertising signs of the 1930s. The sign appears modern though listing the company locations of Newark Los Angeles Milwaukee and Peoria Heights seems to imply that the piece was manufactured prior to 1996 when brewing was contracted to the Stroh Brewing Company. Apparent NM condition though the professional matting and framing prevents us from examining the sides and edges. Two pieces total.
