Tougher complete "Injury" trade cards set each depicting a slapstick sort of baseball "injury." The full-color illustrations were produced by the Forbes Company of Boston and are thus typically called the "Forbes Injury Cards." The cards present particularly well three featuring advertising for Syracuse-based Colton & Lansing Wholesale company a fourth featuring an ad for Frank Smith Fruit Confectionary and Toys of New London CT printed on the front. While some of the cards may exhibit a slight trim none was done for deceptive reasons as they all appear done during the period of issue likely just to help position the cards in the scrapbooks in whiuch they were mounted. Six cards total.
