Very attractive PC758 postcard of Heinie Zimmerman a highly underrated player who finished his 13-year career with a .295 lifetime batting average winning the triple crown in the National League in 1912 with a .372 batting average 14 home runs and 104 RBI. Zimmerman hit 9 home runs the season prior and 9 more the season after but never hit more than 6 in any other pro season never hitting higher than .297 after 1913 prompting rampant rumors of steroid abuse among the media in the late teens. Just kidding. An outstanding postcard graded VG/EX 50 by SGC with very slight surface wear and edge/corner wear consistent with the grade.
