Spectacular card of popular Browns third baseman Arlie Latham one of the highest-graded cards from the H.D. Smith & Co. (formerly Scrapps Tobacco) issue known to exist. Graded EX 60 by SGC the card is virtually flawless with vivid color and two clean unblemished tabs demarcating where the cards were once attached to the die-cut sheet. Due to the cards' method of distribution and the fact that they were often mounted in scrapbooks even midgrade cards from this issue are virtually nonexistent today; obtaining a high-grade example of a popular player like Latham is virtually unheard of.
