Just three days after the first-ever Major League game on the west coast, the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants traveled south to take part in the first Major League game in Los Angeles. Played at the Los Angeles Coliseum, even the cover of the official scorecard pointed to the future, picturing a rendering of Chavez Ravine, the Dodgers' "Home of Tomorrow."

Dodgers hero Carl Erskine would start the game for the Dodgers, pitching 8 innings and giving up 4 runs in the Dodgers' 6-5 win.  In GOOD condition, the scorecard is unscored, some minor sports of wear at the corners and edges, including some tiny tears along the top edge. Accompanying the scorecard is a ticket stub from the game, EX condition.
