Pair of complete writing tablets featuring stars Charley Grimm and Lon Warneke.  Each 5 1/2" x 9" tablet is unused, each more than half an inch thick of lined paper. Age and storage has added its wrinkles, as it does to all of us, along with some edge discolorations, toning, a light stain here or there, and wear at the edges and corners. Still, even finding used tablets of this kind is exciting to collectors of prewar memorabilia; two clean, unused examples is quite a find.  Two tablets total.
