Lot Description  

1934 Type I photo featuring starting infield for the Philadelphia Athletics at their spring training facility in Fort Myers, FL. Sharp 7" x 9" photo depicts from L to R -- 1B Jimmie Foxx, 2B Dib Williams, SS Eric McNair, and 3B Pinky Higgins, with a small crease to the lower-right corner. Associated Press credit stamping has been applied to verso and original paper caption dated to 3/17/34 is included but has separated from the photo. A fresh to the hobby example from the Durham Find of Historic Baseball Photography. Authenticated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA and their full LOA is provided.
