A trio of baseball's greatest stars pose for photos in this 1927 shot from the Philadelphia Athletics' training camp in Fort Myers, FL. All three men - Ty Cobb, Zack Wheat, and Eddie Collins, respectively had just signed on with Connie Mack's club following long tenure's with other teams. 6" x 8" photo exhibits small areas of wear to the emulsion along the perimeter that remain well constrained within the borders. Large credit stamping from International has been applied to verso and the original paper caption, dated to 3/12/27, is included. Authenticated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA and their full LOA is provided.
