In 1917, Boston Store, a Chicago department store, released a 200-card baseball card set featuring many of the day's star players.  Presented here is what amounts to a giant advertising piece, a 144-page printed catalog that includes all the retailer's clothing, footwear and home goods for the Spring and Summer of 1917, ostensibly the same time frame in which the cards were published.  The catalog (which makes no reference to the cards that we can find) presents remarkably well, despite being in technically GOOD condition due to overall wear, a tear at the cover, and some paper loss in the image to the top right.
