Gorgeous wood-and-glass display, constructed of a mahogany-colored wood frame with glass windows on four sides.  The Boston Garter logo is screened in gold on the front glass as well as the lid.  The kid opens with two hinges, a gold chain affixed to the lid and base keeps the lid open at a 90 degree angle when opened.  Measuring 14 1/4" wide by 6" high by 10" deep, this is an extraordinary piece that has outstanding display value.  The Boston Garter logos are printed in a metallic gold color, and while wear is apparent (particularly at the top), they still display wonderfully.  Sturdy and clean, a gold placard is mounted underneath the lid that reads "Cautionary Notice. This cabinet is furnished by us for the exclusive display and sale of the BOSTON GARTER. A careful observance of this condition will benefit the user and prevent violation of our trade mark rights. George Frost Company." A wonderful piece, the only one of its kind we have encountered.
