Rare and highly coveted Gypsy Queen card of Washington Shortstop Al Myers.  Graded POOR 1 by PSA due to back damage, the image is remarkably clean and the contrast strong, the Gypsy Queen brand lending considerable desirability to the card.  In addition to the N172 Old Judge set tobacco manufacturer Goowin & Co. of New York also produced Gypsy Queen Cigarettes, inserting cards of baseball players in packages of Gypsy Queen Straight Cut Cigarettes. Although this set mirrors its N172 counterpart in the images used it stands on its own in regard to rarity. N175 Gypsy Queens are extremely scarce cards and like all 19th-century cards image quality is everything.  An exceptional card.
