Here is a 1919 sketch book featuring Chicago’s two MLB teams, the Cubs and White Sox. It comes complete with a custom black presentational album that reads “1919 Chicago Yearbook.” The actual sketchbook is entitled “Sketch Book and Complete Records of Our Cubs and White Sox” and includes player bios of both teams’ rosters with statistical info complete through the end of the 1918 season. Even players from the infamous “Black Sox” scandal of 1919 in which they helped throw that year’s World Series to the Cincinnati Reds (five games to three) are included. The well-preserved book measures 5.5" high by 7.25" wide. The original price of the sketch book: 10 cents.
