E126 American Caramel is a 60 subject set issued at the tail end of the caramel card era in 1927. Unlike many earlier candy sets, it features a good amount of photos not seen previously or cropped to show better detail. Walter "Big Train" Johnson got in on the fun at card #28, with an overall graded population of eight, where exactly half the subjects are assessed higher. A couple of creases can be seen cutting in from the top and left, primarily to the background, with a scratch seen in the glove area. Still, the image of the fireballing hurler has remained largely untouched by these. The reverse is a nice one, well-printed and clean.
