E126 American Caramel is a 60 subject set issued at the tail end of the caramel card era in 1927. Unlike many earlier candy sets, it features a good amount of photos not seen previously or cropped to show better detail. Ty Cobb is one of the big guns in the set and he's shown here in a wonderful bunting pose on card #17. The grade is PSA 1.5, which mainly references the staining seen on the front and some bends to the right side corners. The front image is superbly contrasted, you can almost feel the sun illuminating the Georgia Peach. The reverse is nicely rendered, with the text remaining dark. This is one of the last cards to depict Cobb in his playing days, and one of fewer still to show him with the Athletics.
