When considering the "rookie card" of Hall of Famer Warren Spahn many collectors point to his 1948 Leaf or Bowman cards. The reality however is that a number of smaller or regional issues predated those cards including this his 1947 Tip Top Bread issue. This example graded FAIR 20 by SGC is marred by significant wear including heavy creasing surface wear and rounded corners and yet still maintains decent eye appeal for the grade.
