Between the years 1947 and 1966 the Exhibit Supply Company issued individual sets of cards distributed via vending machines. Each year some of the cards were repeated some removed from the set new ones added and some modified. The result of this is an unbelievably complex set with well over 300 different cards and variations differing levels of scarcity within the issue and countless minor print variations. Indeed the Exhibit issues in general are fascinating due to the variations and outstanding player selection but the 1947-66 issue is particularly challenging. Presented is an outstanding collection of 100 cards from the issue including variations and various scarcities. Since Exhibits were printed on heavy card stock they tended to withstand wear very well so while the collection averages VG condition in general (with many better and some worse) the majority cards look considerably better. Particular condition anomalies are noted below.
