Cards from the 1928 Exhibits issue are identifiable by their blue tone. A 64-card set borrowing many images and subjects from prior issues, there are 36 new photos in this issue, with a layout identical to the 1927 issue save for the color tint.
Midgrade specimen depicting Hall of Famer Joe Sewell, graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. The card boasts strong aesthetic appeal, the numerical grade reduced from EX or VG/EX+ by a visible surface chip along the left edge. None of the condition flaws detract to any great degree from the card itself, however. A very pleasing example.
