Attractive pair of Yankee Stadium ticket stubs from the 1943 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, a victory for the Yankees in five games.  Collection includes: 1) Game 1 Stub: 4-2 Opening Day victory for the Yankees on October 5.  Joe Gordon homered for the Yankees as Spud Chandler scattered 7 hits in a complete game victory.  VG appearance with some mild wear and a corner crease.  2) Game 2 Stub: 4-3 Cardinals win on October 6, the team's only victory in the series.  GOOD condition with some light wear and wrinkling throughout, particularly at the edges.  Two stubs total.
