Pair of Yankee Stadium ticket stubs from the 1942 World Series, a 4-1 victory for the St. Louis Cardinals over the New York Yankees, including the deciding game.  Collection includes: 1) Game 4 stub: a 9-6 slugfest and Cardinals victory on October 4.  Strong presentation, but with an irregular tear at the perforation reducing the technical grade.  2) Game 5 Stub: October 5 deciding game, a 4-2 Cardinals win, with Johnny Beazley outdueling Red Ruffing, both pitchers throwing complete games.  Attractive ticket, but with paper remnants at the perforation from an irregular tear.  Two stubs total.
