Beautiful lithographic print of an illustration by Hibberd Van Buren Kline, a painter and illustrator who created many illustrations for magazines, as well as poster art during the early part of the 20th Century.  A professor at Syracuse University, he was just 24 years old when he created the sports images for Close, Graham & Scully, Inc., that grace this catalog.  Roughly 44" x 14 1/4", the piece resides in a vintage frame that is slightly larger.  The piece is beautiful and colorful, with some staining and areas of discoloration, and some areas of general wear.  The vintage frame prevents us from performing a thorough inspection of the back or edges.  It should be noted that the size and weight of this piece requires additional shipping charges beyond our standard rate, to accommodate the oversized piece.
