Attractive figural piece advertising Gunther Beer, featuring Jim Thorpe.  Approximately 15" in height, the piece is in VG condition with a variety of dings and abrasions, particularly near the top, and on the reverse.  A decal on the back provides biographical information on Thorpe.  One of three such pieces in this auction, the only three we have encountered.  From the collection of Ted Patterson.
