Gorgeous advertising poster featuring "Little Miss Sunbeam " presenting the 1953 Oakland Oaks of the Pacific Coast League. Attractive and colorful poster measures 18" x 18 1/4" in its thin wooden frame and appears in outstanding condition with its original color and vibrant graphics. The photo features a number of important baseball names including former Negro Leaguer Piper Davis manager Augie Galan along with Con Dempsey and George Bamberger. Though the signature has not been authenticated Bamberger signed above his image in black fiber-tip marker likely while he was with the Baltimore Orioles as a coach as Bamberger signed many items for Ted Patterson the owner of this piece. The condition appears very strong some minor stray wrinkles evident here and there along with a hole punch at the top that is likely original to the piece. The frame prevents us from examining the edges or reverse. A clean and colorful PCL piece.
