Originally named the Independent Brewing Company the company changed its name to the Duquesne Brewing Company after prohibition and continued doing business until 1972. This is an extremely colorful and well-made sign a three-dimensional piece that is approximately 1/4" thick backed with heavy paper. While wear is evident at the edges and in the form of mild soiling and surface abrasion the overall appearance is bright and colorful. An exceptional sign.
