I have one to sell!
LATE NOTE: A copy of the MEARS LOA has been uploaded to this lot listing. Spectacular New Era size 7 1/4 cap worn by Hall of Fame pitcher during the 1985-87 period (actually signed by Sutton and dated 1986 on the outer bill). Sutton's uniform number 20 and the letters "SUT" are written in black marker on the inner bill obscuring a smaller number 27 written in pen. Sutton wore both uniform numbers 20 and 27 during the 1986 campaign for the Angels for some reason a season where he would win 15 games against 11 losses at 41 years old with a 3.74 ERA. Sutton would play two more seasons - one with the Angels and one with the Dodgers (where he saw his greatest success as a pitcher). The cap shows light wear and displays extremely well clean and well-kept. From the collection of Ted Patterson LOA from MEARS.
