Tremendous card of Hall of Famer Hilton Smith who played in the Negro leagues with the Monroe and Kansas City Monarchs pitching alongside Satchel Paige. He also played with the Bismarck semipro team with Paige and Double Duty Radcliffe. A six time All-Star Smith was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001. This card is a tremendous example with a technical grade of FAIR 1.5 assessed by SGC but the visual appeal of a much higher-grade card. Glue staining and very light paper loss on the reverse - both from being affixed into an album - have resulted in the technical grade. An absolutely tremendous card of a difficult-to-find Hall of Famer from a highly sought-after Puerto Rican issue.
