Attractive card of Hall of Famer Harry Hooper from the difficult M101-6 Mendelsohn issue. The grade of FR 1.5 has been assessed by SGC due to staining at the left edge visible on the front and back of the card. The staining has created surface abrasions visible at the top-right. The reverse of the card in addition to the staining exhibits paper remnants and loss from long-ago scrapbook removal. The detail of the card visible in the image is slightly lighter than in person as the mylar baggie in the SGC holder made scanning impossible due to the reflection of the scanner bulb off the wrinkles in the plastic. Those same wrinkles were visible in our photographic lighting though somwhat less so if we positioned the camera at a distance making the card more visible but dulling some detail. An attractive card from a very scarce and desirable issue.
