Continuously underrated the strip card issues of the 1920s represent outstanding value an exceptional way to acquire cards of the key Hall of Famers from the era. Extremely condition-sensitive the cards were typically distributed in strips left for 1920s children to separate from one another using the method of their choice. The results were typically haphazard uneven cuts and tears at the borders. As a result of that the cards are seldom found in presentable condition. Presented here is a collection of 29 baseball strip cards from a variety of issues. The cards typically present well despite being primarily collector-grade due to irregular cuts worn edges and corners and writing where noted. Collection includes the following: 1) 1919 W552 Mayfair Baseball Positions Drawings (1 card): First Base; 2) 1925-1927 W512 (3 cards): #5 Wright #8 Frankie Frisch (HOF) #10 Dazzy Vance (HOF); 3) 1927 W560 Playing Cards (17 cards the year 1925 written on the reverse of each): Fred Maguire George Pipgras Max Bishop Jim Wilson Jim Bottomley (HOF) Dazzy Vance (HOF) Taylor DOuthit Fred Marberry Remy Kremer Goose Goslin (HOF) Jesse Haines (HOF) Guy Bush (2) Johnny Mostil Kiki Cuyler (HOF) Jimmy Foxx (HOF) 4) 1928 W513 (8 cards): #61 Ed Roush (HOF) #68 Herb Pennock (HOF) #70 Paul Waner (HOF - 2) #72 Burleigh Grimes (HOF) #76 Grantham #80 DeVormer #86 Earl Combs (HOF). An interesting collection of cards from four different strip card issues. 29 cards total.
