Difficult card of Hall of Famer Max Carey from the M101-6 Felix Mendelsohn issue graded FR 1.5 by SGC due to wear and surface abrasions visible on the front resulting in light spots of paper loss but more notably due to paper remnants on the reverse (and perhaps some paper loss) from scrapbook removal. Some staining is evident along the right edge likely the cause of the paper loss. Despite these clear areas of wear the card presents well with sharp corners and edges and a clear image. The SGC mylar baggie inside the holder made scanning impossible as it is quite reflective so we elected to shoot the card with a camera from a distance making everything just a tad lighter than the card appears in person.
