Large-format advertising display calendar from 1955 measuring 16" x 33" featuring an illustration of two children playing baseball a young baserunner heading home while his third base coach encourages him. Pictured in the background is the Hall of Fame plaque of John McGraw. The month at-a-glance calendar has had its first two months torn away but it appears the owner lost interest beginning in March leaving what appears to be the remaining year's calendar pad stapled in place (though we cannot verify this with 100% accuracy as the piece has been dry-mounted onto a cardboard backing held in place with shrink wrap). Appears to be in FAIR condition though with a far stronger presentation but a torn bottom edge that appears to have been reattached and some minor edge tears and wrinkles from long-ago rolling into a tube.
