Attractive ticket stub to the opening game of the 1929 World Series at Wrigley Field when Athletics pitcher Howard Ehmke set the World Series record for most strikeouts in a game fanning 13 Chicago Cubs in the team's 3-1 victory. Jimmie Foxx homered in the 7th inning off Charlie Root and two more runs in the ninth would be enough to secure the victory. The stub itself does exhibit some wear mostly in the form of surface dirt at the top edge along with some stray paper at the perforation. VG/EX condition.
