Measuring just shy of 6" x 8" strong studio photo of pitcher Harry McIntyre who played for the Brooklyn Superbas from 1905 through 1909 moved to the Cubs for three seasons and finished his major league career with the Reds in 1913. His best season was likely 1910 when he went 13-9 with a 3.07 ERA for the Cubs. Pictured in the T206 set (his team affiliation changed from Brooklyn to Brooklyn & Chicago during the course of production) this studio photo is credited to Cardner & Co of Brooklyn and is well-preserved the mount exhibiting wear and mild soiling the photo in EX/MT condition with mild silvering. McIntyre's name is written in red ink at the top of the reverse the bottom reads "J.R. McIntyre" (his real name was John Reid) though we believe this to be an identifier and not a signature. An exceptional early cabinet photo featuring a T206 subject.
