Early 1950s Louisville Slugger measuring approximately 33 1/2" as used by Cleveland Indians slugger Al "Flip Rosen. Rosen won the American League home run crown twice during the 1950s capturing the RBI title twice during a five-year stretch when he drove in more than 100 runs. Rosen won the 1953 MVP award batting .336 with 43 home runs and 145 RBI. The bat exhibits significant wear including a large handle crack and nearly 3" chip out of the handle. Several nails have been employed to reinforce the handle. A large chip also is visible on the back barrel. Still an outstanding piece from one of the game's more popular non-HOFers from his era. LOA from PSA/DNA.
