One of the more interesting regional issues we have encountered this from the pages of the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper dating to July 24 1949. The paper produced a sheet of "Baseball cards " with instructions that the entire paper be pasted onto a sheet of cardboard and then the additional "cards" be cut out and then folded and pasted again photo on one side and biographical information on the reverse. This is a full intact sheet containing Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack and his son Earle Hall of Famer Nellie Fox along with Eddie Sawyer Ken Silvestri and individual pennants of the Philles and Athletics. The sheet is worn at the surface and edges clearly torn out of the newspaper but otherwise in outstanding condition. An interesting "pre-rookie" card of Nellie Fox along with a card of the great Connie Mack.
