Clean and attractive 1950 Bowman complete set compiled as a backup set by a long-time collector many years before the existence of third-party grading these cards are the backup to the complete 1950 Bowman set offered in our Fall 2017 auction. The cards were assembled with special consideration to overall eye appeal assembled long before the internet made it possible to easily find cards in any grade at any time. The cards are clean and crisp though slightly more of a collector-grade set than the midgrade offering in our last auction. Many are subject to centering issues and most have well-rounded corners. A breakdown of the set's technical grade would be 5% EX-MT or better; 17% EX; 24% VG-EX; 27% VG; 20% G; 7% lesser a few of which have writing on the reverse or stray ink marks.
