The T215 Red Cross baseball issue is among the most desirable tobacco issues because of its scarcity and because of the extremely attractive Red Cross tobacco advertising on the reverse. Utilizing card designs identical to the T206 issue the T215s were issued in Louisiana and like other Louisiana-based tobacco issues are extremely susceptible to condition problems. This example has been graded POOR 10 by SGC due to significant surface wrinkling that does not impact the card's eye appeal but can be seen clearly when enlarging the scan. The desirable Red Cross ad on the reverse is largely clean with some minor staining but nothing to distract from the outstanding Red Cross artwork. The T213 cards are found in two decidedly different "types " noted by the color of their captions. This example is from the toughter Type 2 set known by the blue lettering at the bottom of the card. An exceptional card difficult to find from one of the most desirable of all the tobacco issues.
