While the T227 Series of Champions cards are typically found in the lowest possible grades the four baseball subjects in the issue - Home Run Baker Chief Bender Ty Cobb and Rube Marquard - are highly sought after in any condition. This specimen graded VG 40 by SGC can rightly be considered "high grade" for the issue and is valuable and highly collectible. In this case the card carries the "Miner's Extra" tobacco ad on the reverse - the four cards in the set when found with Miner's backs are the only baseball cards ever issued that feature the Miner's brand name.
