Issue in 1954 the F156 Red Heart Dog Food set offers an excellent alternative to the larger Bowman and Topps issued produced the same year. Packed with Hall of Fame members and featuring attractive portraits this set consists of three separate series and each series could have been obtained by mailing two dog food labels and ten cents to the Red Heart Dog Food company. Featuring Boston’s Sammy White boasting a huge smile this sample has been graded “near mint – mint” by PSA. This sample displays only very minor touches to its corners and is otherwise a “mint” card with great centering and bold colors.
