Issue in 1954 the F156 Red Heart Dog Food set offers an excellent alternative to the larger Bowman and Topps issued produced the same year. Packed with Hall of Fame members and featuring attractive portraits this set consists of three separate series and each series could have been obtained by mailing two dog food labels and ten cents to the Red Heart Dog Food company. Graded “near mint – mint ” this sample frm the set shows Eddie Yost in front of a gorgeous Azure-blue background. This sample is truly “near mint – mint ” showing only minor corner touching and no other disruptions.
