Key premium issued by a Canadian radio show which issued many premiums in the late 1940s including many boxers. The premiums in general are difficult to find and the complete checklist is still unknown. This exampleis a fantastic one featuring a team photo of the 1946 Montreal Royals. The photo features most of that season's team which of course included Jackie Robinson in his minor league debut. Several other well-known names also appear in the photo. This example was featured in our last auction graded EX-MT 6 by BVG and encapsulated in a gargantual holder. The holder was damaged in transit on the way to the winning bidder who received a full refund on his purchase. Upon examination of the premium itself we found no damage to have occurred but we elected not to resubmit the premium for regrading because we are not fans of the giant holder.
