Issued in Cuba in 1946 and 47 with packages of Propagandas Montiel caramel these cards are printed on extremely lightweight paper and are thus extraordinarily condition-sensitive.  Since they were intended to be glued in an album the cards often have been removed from albums and thus often paper loss on the reverse. Graded “poor” by SGC this sample features Hall of Fame member Jimmie Foxx just finishing his powerful swing. “Poor” due to chipping at the card’s bottom border and lower right corner this card does show its age and demonstrates the thinness of the paper it is printed on. Despite these problem areas this card remains creaseless and Foxx’s image is entirely unblemished.
